Join our Sales & Marketing Department as Inside Sales Representative (ISR)/Sales Engineer.
In this role, you are responsible for identifying and closing sales opportunities through outbound calling activities.
A successful ISR will thrive under pressure, think out-of-the-box, easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with customers to reengage them to renew and/or purchase new services, and is highly self-motivated.
This is a primarily work from home opportunity but ideal candidates will be located within proximity to our Boston, MA area office, ensuring optimal support of our Boston and New England customers.
As our Inside Sales Representative/Sales Engineer, you are responsible for:
Follow-up on an assigned customer base to identify and close opportunities by providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested customers and leads Renew and expand historically low revenue customer accounts Create and maintain target lists and strategy for penetrating each account Communicate with customers making outbound calls to identify and close sales opportunities Clearly and concisely explain SEAM Group services and value proposition to potential customers Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining complete records of customer interactions and accurate pipeline activity through detailed notes in Salesforce Collaborate with members of sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approaches Report success and failures to immediate supervisor Stay knowledgeable about products and services offered by SEAM Group Perform other related duties as assigned Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic Demonstrated success in sales Effective use of sales techniques, including prospecting, discovery, value proposition development, objection handling, and customer acquisition High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful business pipeline Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Creative thinker with proven ability to develop out-of-the-box ideas Willingness to train/educate peers on best practices in the inside sales rep function Capacity to multitask across many sales leads at different levels of development Ability to prepare and present company materials and reports Capable of building rapport, influencing others, and maintaining strong work relationships Inside Sales Representatives/Sales Engineers will have the following education and
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred 2-5 years of sales experience (inside or outside) Minimum 2 years of customer service experience Minimum 2 years of cold calling experience Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong technical knowledge in Electrical Preventative Maintenance highly preferred Basic CRM software experience (Salesforce preferred) Why SEAM Group?
