Join EESCO, a division of SEAM Group, as a Field Services Technician.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving LVPM electrical issues for our customers.
In this role you are also responsible for ensuring timely installation, repair, and documentation of switchboard upgrades, electrical tie-ins, and other related LV equipment.
Qualified candidates for this role MUST be located in the New England area or willing to relocate.
Relocation assistance eligible.
As a Field Services Technician, you will:
Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues Ensure that the work is performed in a professional and detailed manner to conform to existing national and local building codes Ensure work performed is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes Work with the SEAM team and client to fulfill any necessary system repairs to support switchboard upgrades and electrical tie-ins Follow OSHA, NEC, AHLJ and Utility requirements Provide superior customer service and communication throughout the installation Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete Perform other related duties, as assigned Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders Testing of Switchgear Systems, LV & MV Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switches, MV Switches, MV Cables, Instrument Transformers, etc Perform primary Current Injection Test Equipment, DC Hipots, VLF's, DLRO's, TTR Testers, FLIR IR Camera's, Meggers, Secondary Injection Testers, etc.

In this role, you will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to travel (as needed) Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business.
Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check Must be a self-starter, have good communication skills Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines Strong comfortability and experience Testing of Switchgear Systems, LV & MV Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switches, MV Switches, MV Cables, Instrument Transformer Strong comfortability and experience reviewing plans, drawings, and specs, planning and executing field service projects under supervision and independently, preparing reports, etc.

NETA LEVEL 2 or 3 required, will consider strong OEM experience in lieu of NETA certification 3 - 5 Years
Experience in Field Service Electrical Distribution Systems Testing, Commissioning, and Troubleshooting Experience Testing of Switchgear Systems, LV & MV Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switches, MV Switches, MV Cables, Instrument Transformer In this role, you can expect the following physical demands:
